Markwell’s Deer Processing would like to thank everyone for another successful year serving the community in the 2024 Deer Hunting Season. We are gearing up for a big year in 2025. We Are At full processing capabilities, including whole field dressed deer, quarters and meat only orders.
A CWD SURVEILENCE ZONE IS IN EFFECT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES; BALLARD, BRECKENRIDGE, CALLOWAY, CARLISLE, FULTON, GRAVES, HARDIN, HENDERSON, HICKMAN, MARSHALL, MCCRACKEN, MEADE, UNION AND WEBSTER. WE ARE UNABLE TO EXCEPT WHOLE DEER FROM ANY OF THESE COUNTIES. WE WILL ACCEPT DEBONED ONLY MEAT FROM THES COUNTIES.

Markwell Deer Processing Schedule
We will be opening for early bow season September 22 2025. Please call ahead to make sure someone can meet you.
Youth Hunt October 11th to 19th 2025 and December 27th to 28th 2025 open 9:00am to 6:00pm or call for appointment
Markwells will offer free processing of youth hunt deer for the first Saturday Oct. 11th and Sunday Oct. 12th only. All youth hunters must be present at drop off to receive free deer processing.
Modern Gun Season - November 8th to 23rd 2025 open 8:00am to 8:00pm
Muzzleloader - Oct 18th to 19th 2025 and December 18th to 21st, 2025 open 8:00am to 6:00pm or call for appointment
We Will Be Closed For Thanksgiving Day Thursday November 27th
Christmas Eve December 24th And Christmas Day December The 25th
New Years Eve December 31 And New Years Day Jan 1 2026
* All orders not picked up within 10 days will be subject to a $5.00/day storage fee.

Finally, we are proud to announce the opening of Markwell’s Beef, a full-service custom beef processing operation including hand cut orders and our full line of specialty products. We are now accepting whole and half beef orders.
